July Beauty Finds: Sparkle or Dull?

This month’s beauty finds………ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I was so excited to try both and review them! I’m not even going to mess around with some kind of introduction….let’s get right into it!

Product #1: Tarte’s Swamp Queen Palette

Me and eyeshadows go together like peas and carrots…we just belong together. In recent months I have started to use more products from Tarte (not sure why I waited so long), and was extremely excited when it was announced they were going to pair with Grav3yardgirl, a youtube sensation, to create a palette.

Who is this Grav3yardgirl? A hot ass mess, that’s what, but in a good way. Bunny reviews lots of crazy products, does tutorials, and is just ridiculous….probably why I gravitate to her channel. Her style is all over the place….much like mine. I love it!

I knew that this palette would have some awesome colors that were different from my normal palettes (I love anything brown, purple, grays, etc), and, knowing Tarte’s quality, I had a feeling they would be super rich and apply wonderfully.

I’ll be honest….for a hot second I thought I may not get my hands on this palette. Initially I saw it at an Ulta in Michigan while shopping with my cousins, but since it had been released that day I thought I would just wait and get it back home. They will have ppllleeennntttyyyyyyyy of them at my Ulta, right?

WRONG. Every Ulta near me was sold out….so was Sephora (good news, back in stock if you want one). Fortunately, a girl at Ulta told me she heard through the grapevine that Macy’s was going to be carrying them for a brief time. I took advantage of her tip, found it on Macy’s website, ordered it, and performed a serious of cartwheels and somersaults when it arrived a few days later.

Look at these colors! In the palette you get 9 eyeshadows, 1 bronzer, 1 blush, and 1 highlighter. The colors are very rich (can you see the sparkle in a few of them?)!

Here’s my honest review of the product: It is fabulous BUT…..because of how pigmented the colors are I highly recommend using a little at a time….then adding a little more…and so on. I think we all know I love a strong contour, so when I started with the Sweet Tea shade (top left), I was surprised at how INTENSE it was…..leading me to wash my makeup off and start over. Same with Gator Wings (bottom left), which is a highlighter. It has a strong glittery shine to it, so start small with a fan brush and add as needed.

As far as the eyeshadow colors go, I liked them for a more natural, subtle look. Sippy Sippy (middle row, far right) was my favorite color in the palette, but I did have a lot of fall out with the shadow than with the other colors, so be careful or apply eyeshadow before the rest of your makeup.

FINAL VERDICT: SPARKLE! It’s great for traveling since your blush and contouring friends are a part of the palette, and it can work on any skin tone (in my opinion).

Product #2: Stila Waterproof Eyeliner

I’ve really struggled lately with eyeliners…I don’t know why! I love a strong wing, so I prefer a liquid liner for my top eyelids and use a pencil for my lower eye. This is the summer of weddings for me, and being outside at a lot of them I noticed that my trusty eyeliner (a cheap kind by Wet N Wild that I have used for years) was running faster than Usain Bolt. No bueno. Throw in a few happiness tears…and my whole eye look was ruined.

So I did something I never ever do…..I walked into Sephora and asked one of employees for a recommendation. This is big for me! I swear I know more than the majority of people in there, so asking for a suggestion….that was like taking a bullet.

Lucky for me I got one of the few Sephora employees that seems to know what is going on in the world of makeup. (Sidenote: Why does Sephora always seem to hire idiots? That don’t know what things like highlighters or primer are? Or who Kat Von D is? And who can’t even apply makeup to their own face? I swear…the last time I was in Sephora one of the girls was rocking a foundation shade that would’ve worked if you had been sunburned in Cancun, not if you had the alabaster color skin she did. She looked ridiculous! Ok, I’ll stop). The girl recommended the Stay All Day waterproof eyeliner by Stila, which made me happy. I had done a little online trolling of my own and this one popped up numerous times. Her suggestion gave me the go ahead to purchase and try, and I am so glad I did!

Screen Shot 2016-08-04 at 7.44.38 PM.jpg
This product is just like a magic marker for my eye….easy to use, great for making thick wings or subtle ones…and comes in a variety of colors. Best of all, it doesn’t run when Im crying or sweating…which is a huge plus!

Final Verdict: SPARKLE!!!! Yes, yes, a million times yes. Add this to your makeup bag immediately.

For fun I made a little tutorial with the colors I love from Swamp Queen…and I used my Stila pen, too!

My New Normal

I remember a couple of years ago when my mother was all hot to trot about a show called “The New Normal.” It was a show I somehow never got into, which is surprising because my girl Nene Leakes was in it, but I got to thinking the other day about the concept behind it. The show was based on the family dynamic of a wealthy gay couple who want to have a child, so they move the surrogate mother and her daughter into the home. Thus, a new “normal” regarding a family lifestyle is born.

Last week was the first week of what I like to refer to as my new normal. No, I didn’t do anything like the characters on the show did, but I did make a lifestyle change that once seemed impossible. I left the career that I dedicated fifteen years of my life to. It still is crazy to think that I was able to make it happen.

Let’s talk about my “old” normal. I started working in the higher education field when I was eighteen years old, starting at the bottom of the totem pool in my college’s admissions office. After graduation I fell into an opportunity that made me a department director at the age of twenty-one. I was young, clueless, but eager to learn and make a positive impact. After about a year I made the decision to take a great opportunity in an Admissions department at a college in Pittsburgh, which led to me an even better opportunity, and then another, including providing me with the opportunity to open a brand new campus and obtain various management roles. To say I loved my job was an understatement; I greatly enjoyed meeting with individuals who needed a change in their life and had goals of doing more.

However, as much as I loved the ability I had to help people gain a new career, there were things that I absolutely had grown to hate. I hated that over the years people were seen as dollar signs instead of people. I hated that I worked alongside people and under managers who threw integrity in the trash and lied to pad their bottom dollar. Most importantly, I had grown to hate the hours and expectations. I have always been a hard worker, but working 50+ hours a week was not something I liked. Being forced to work on holidays instead of spending those moments with my family was not something I liked. Getting the third degree if I was sick and had to take some time off was not something I liked. So I made the decision to take a huge pay cut and return to the department where it all started: Career Services.

I remember a conversation with the Campus President soon after I started my new role in Career Services where we discussed my career goals with the company.  During the conversation I had told her that this would be the final school I would work for. I would either choose to remain working for the college and move up within it, or I would leave it and pursue something else. She laughed and said, “that’s what everyone says. This is a great company. You won’t leave.”

Two years after that conversation I came to a crossroads in my life. Not only had my personal life fallen apart, but I had met a new level of frustration with my career. I hated driving to work every single day to feel under appreciated. I hated that my performance was based on things that were beyond my control. I hated that I felt I was one of only a select handful of individuals who cared about the students and their success. And I hated that the combination of a miserable job and a hot mess personal life had led to me gaining 60 pounds. Sunday nights I had such extreme anxiety about driving to a place that I felt was literally sucking the life out of me that I often could not sleep or had anxiety attacks.

So my “old” normal life went a little something like this:

Get up. Go to work. Grab some kind of fast food on the way. Put on a brave face and take on the day. Grab fast food for lunch. Leave work. Grab fast food for dinner. Stop and grab liquor. Go home. Eat fast food. Make White Russian after White Russian. Watch reality tv. Eventually pass out. Get up and start the cycle again.

It was awful.

Around this time was when I made the decision to get started with Beachbody. I’ve talked about it numerous times before, I truly believe that buying that little challenge pack and joining an online challenge group saved my life. I started the end of August and completed the challenge November 1st, losing 47.5 pounds during that 10 week program, while modifying my eating and giving up drinking completely. More importantly, I learned about this little thing called “coaching”, and I fell in love with it.

Shortly after I completed my challenge group, I attended my first online team call led by some chick named Brittany who I had never heard of in my life. I remember her talking about how she had retired from nursing thanks to her income from coaching and the freedom it had brought to her life. Something about that call lit a fire inside me that made me want the same thing. I heard Brittany talk about the same things that I was struggling with……working long hours, being away from family, feeling under appreciated…..I knew deep down I could make this work for me, too. After all, the one thing I knew was that I was incredibly passionate about coaching the products and opportunities through Beachbody. I had seen first hand how they could transform someone’s life because MY LIFE had been transformed, and I wanted to help as many people as possible feel the satisfaction and triumph like I had felt when I realized I had taken control of not only my health, but my life.

I knew going full time with Beachbody would not happen overnight. I knew it would take hard work, consistency, and patience. I knew that there would be ups and downs, but I knew that it would be worth it.

For almost two years I worked my higher ed job in misery, anxious every day to come home to work on my business and growth. My doctor had me take anxiety medication so I could handle my job and the ridiculous management there. After 8 or 9 hours at the daytime job, I would come home and get to cracking at my to do list. Some nights I wouldn’t have much time to dedicate to my business, other nights I would put in some long hours. I never complained. I never felt like I was doing “work”. I had fallen in love with this opportunity and wanted to spend more time doing it.

There were times when I sacrificed activities or events because I knew I needed to get work done for my challenge groups. There were days I did not want to workout but did it because I needed to hold myself accountable and be an example to my challengers. There were days people I “thought” were my friends badmouthed me and made fun of this “stupid Beachbody thing” on Facebook posts and in messages. There were days I got defriended. No one ever said being an entrepreneur would be easy, especially not when so many people have misconceptions about multi level marketing companies. I knew that eventually it would be worth it, and all of the hard work would pay off.

On September 18th, I packed the last of my cubicle up and officially said goodbye to higher education.

Goodbye, Cube life!

I had done it.

I had fired my boss and officially become my own one. That thought I had two years prior….the one that Brittany, now a dear friend and mentor, had gotten me to think about…..it had left the dream category and had become a reality.

Last Monday was Day 1 of my “New Normal.” Look at how different my daily routine is from that “Old Normal.”

Sleep In. Wake Up Rested and Refreshed. Make a healthy breakfast. Work for a few hours (depending on what else I have going on). Workout. Make breakfast for Kyle. Walk the dogs. Take some selfies. Clean. Spend time with Kyle. Work a few more hours. Chat with my team. Give away prizes. Brainstorm fun and creative groups and concepts.Go to bed when I want. Wake up and repeat.

Just another day at the office with my assistant.

With the wedding only a few days away, my days have had a lot more packed into them like running errands, making phone calls, and organizing events. It’s been so nice to not have to worry about whether or not I can get everything done on a lunch break. Yesterday I woke up with a nasty headache; I didn’t have to think twice about whether or not I should call off work…..I just slept a little later, woke up and felt better.

My driving force this entire time has been my family, not just Kyle, but my parents and immediate family, too. I didn’t want to have to structure my visits around one day on a weekend here and there. I wanted to be more present in their lives and be able to be there when they need me. With Kyle working a nontraditional schedule, I wanted to be home when he was home so we could have meals together and do the things we love. Life is so short….I wanted to spend my time with those I love while also doing something I love….and I wanted to truly live life.

I never in a million years thought this is where I would be at the age of 34. The possibilities that lay in front of me are endless. It is amazing how you see life when a passion and career come together. I still get to help people, just in a different capacity, only now I get to say whether or not I want to wear pants to work, if I want to wear makeup, and what time I want to work.

The greatest lesson I have learned through all of this: Life is too short to spend 40 hours of your week doing something that is harming you more than hurting you. Unhappy with where you are? Do some soul searching. Find something that will make you happy. Then come up with a plan to get you there. Be realistic: Most times this change is not something that can happen overnight. Actually, if something can transform your life overnight you might want to be a little skeptical about it. Good things take time, energy, and an investment in your self and belief in yourself. For me, it took almost two years. I kept my eye on the goal and was determined to make it happen. You can, too.

Maybe you want to do what I do. Maybe you want to own a pet rescue. Maybe you just want to write. MAKE IT HAPPEN!  Trust the dots will connect. Follow your heart. Do Great Work. And never, ever give up on your dream.

Now go watch this and get some goosebumps…..

Gimme Dat Fix!

If I had a dollar for every time I mentioned “the fix” since its debut, I’d be more loaded than Autumn Calabrese.

I’m not joking.

Why do I talk about this “fix” thing so much?

Easy. I love talking about things that I love and, more importantly, things that have positively impacted my life in some aspect. When I mention this program….that is exactly why. By now most people know my story and how I got involved with the Beachbody community…..I ate too much, drank too much, stopped exercising, yadda yadda. One of the most difficult things I had to face when I started making positive changes in my life was the dreaded kitchen. I had modified my eating habits substantially, but I still struggled with what to eat at times and how much I should/could eat. So many people do. Our minds tell us that we are doing a great job if we are eating a salad….what it doesn’t tell us is that salad is large enough to feed a small village. I was one of these people eating for a village.

When the 21 Day Fix made its debut in February of 2013, I purchased it immediately. Apparently I wasn’t alone in the need for this revolutionary meal planning system; it sold out early the first day. In fact, it sold more the first day than what was projected for that entire week. As with any new program, I was worried it may not be up my alley…after all, not everything is, and that is okay. It’s important to find something that works for you. I was excited to break up (temporarily) with Shaun T and try the workouts Autumn Calabrese had put together for the 21 Day Fix….change is good sometimes…but I was elated to break open those cute little containers and start revamping how I ate.

Building Blocks for Your meals!

Building Blocks for Your meals!

Let’s backtrack for just a second. There is a slim chance that you are reading this and don’t know what the heck I am talking about, so I want to break down for you exactly what this elusive “fix” is. If you are one of those people, let me show you a quick video so you can learn a little more!

Time for some Real Talk.

Yes, that was a 71 year old woman who lost over 45 pounds in that video. Yes, the results shared are amazing. Yes, they totally can happen to you. Since getting the program and running challenge groups with it, I have had challengers lose on average 10-20 pounds during their first 21 day round. Those who have continued using it have seen even great results. I have several individuals who have lost over 50 pounds after several rounds, and I have a pal who has lost 100 pounds after 5 rounds. The challenge group I am currently running has a woman who lost 11 pounds her first week. Talk about amazing. This system works, people. There’s definitely a reason why it is the #1 work out program in the U.S. right now.

Beyond the inches and pounds shed comes something greater…..a lifestyle change. So many people talk about fad diets, and I have heard people question whether or not the 21 Day Fix is one. It’s not. Fad diets involve temporarily solutions. This is not one of those….this is a program that teaches you how to eat right for your body type and how much to eat. It doesn’t mean sacrificing taste..or foods you like…it means eating the right amounts. Does this recipe look boring???

Buffalo Chicken is my Jam!

Buffalo Chicken is my Jam!

Those little containers….they really help. I remember thinking I would be so hungry on this meal plan because some of the containers appear small…..I was so wrong! My entire outlook on what and how I eat has changed thanks to this program, and regardless of what workout program I choose to do, I will always use the 21 Day Fix Meal Plan to keep myself on track.

How many containers a day you eat is specific to each person!

How many containers a day you eat is specific to each person!

SO WHO IS THIS AUTUMN CHICK?

Autumn Calabrese is a fitness guru and national bikini competitor with celebrity clients that include Rachel Zoe and Brooke Burke. Her workouts have been featured in C magazine, LA Parent, The Palisadian-Post, and Daily Candy, and on TV shows like Home & Family.”

I’M BRAND NEW TO WORKING OUT……

That’s okay! I think it is perfectly normal to feel a sense of intimidation when you start a new program. I do all the time! The great thing about the 21 Day Fix is that there is a modifier in every workout to help you. What is a modifier, you ask? It is someone completing a less intense version of the moves. You can choose to follow the modifier as long as you need to. When you build up the strength and endurance, you can increase the intensity. And don’t think you won’t be getting a good workout in should you use the modifier….the moves work you, trust me. This is a great program for beginners because of that element.

I’M A WORKOUT JUNKIE THOUGH….

Cool thing about this program is that it is just as great for seasoned workout lovers like myself as it is for someone starting from scratch. You can increase weights for a tougher workout as you feel ready. If you are someone who has graduated from the 21 Day Fix (meaning you completed the entire 21 day program) or have completed numerous rounds and want a change, Autumn launched the Brand Spankin New 21 Day Fix Extreme program in February. So know you are wondering what the difference is between the two…….

Here’s a breakdown of the workouts. Best part: Both are still 30 minutes a week!

Screen Shot 2015-02-19 at 10.25.48 PM

The meal plan is where the biggest changes can be seen. 100% clean, no treats (if you didn’t know, you can have wine and chocolate on the original 21 Day fix plan…yes, I’m serious).

Screen Shot 2015-02-19 at 10.29.47 PM

I DON’T KNOW WHICH ONE IS BEST FOR ME!

The 21 Day Fix is great for beginners, so if you are starting your journey, I definitely suggest this. The 21 Day Fix Extreme can also be for beginners, but it is a little more challenging. My recommendation is this….

If you struggle with eating and portions, start with the 21 Day Fix. Since the meal plan isn’t as strict, it is a great transition into the world of portion control. Once you graduate from the Fix, then I suggest you more onto Extreme if you are ready for a more dialed in nutrition plan. The workouts are both great and can both be used for beginners…..I just think for many individuals baby steps is a better option initially. If you don’t struggle with meal planning as much, then go with Extreme.

You can do anything for 21 days. Autumn believes so, and so do I.

Guess what else is exciting!?!?! For the rest of the month if you purchase Shakeology you get the complete 21 Day Fix program or Fix Extreme program for just $10. Shakeology is an essential component of this program because it provides dense nutrition and is a great source of energy! It’s also super versatile….not only can you drink it, but you can make peanut butter cups, protein balls, and delicious, healthy cake (Don’t believe me? Watch this video and be amazed.)

To take advantage of the special and get the original 21 Day Fix program, click here! Or, should be want to go Extreme, you can get the 21 Day Fix Extreme special get your click on HERE.I love that they are on sale…..you know me, I am shoppertunistic.  The best part? You get me as your personal coach for free…which means I am here to support you….motivate you…..help you meal plan…all kinds of great stuff!

Summer will be here soon, which means bikinis and short season will be here soon. This is a great way to get you going in an awesome, positive direction!

I can’t wait to celebrate your success with you! But first, I’m off to enjoy my last red of the night!

Colorful meals are the best!

That’s Berry Bananas, Yo!

I get really angry when people tell me that eating healthy is boring.

Have you met me? Have I ever cooked/baked for you? It’s not boring, friends. I’m on a quest this year to prove to you that you can make delicious, healthy meals that everyone in your family will love.

Last night I made a great make ahead breakfast option and had to share it with you all. I don’t know about you, but I am really a hot mess in the mornings. I wake up, do my routine, but I really don’t consider my brain to be awake until about 10am. By that time I’ve had my cup of coffee and my Shakeology is down the hatch, so I have energy and am no longer who Kyle would refer to as “Morning Katie.” Because of the fact that I move like a total snail in the mornings, I love breakfast items that are quick, easy, and fall into my meal plan.

Introducing to you my “That’s Berry Bananas Oatmeal, Yo”. (If you don’t get the Yo reference, you need to spend some time with my man, Shaun T).

What you need:

-1 cup Steel Cut Oats
-1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
-1 tablespoon cinnamon
-1 tablespoon vanilla extract
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1 cup nuts (I use slivered almonds, but choose what you want)
-2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
-1 egg
-1 banana
-1 cup raspberries or blueberries (whatever floats your boat)
-3/4 cup natural maple syrup

Ingredients Needed to Make this delicious meal!

Ingredients Needed to Make this delicious meal!

How You Make It:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 X 13 pan. I use a coconut oil spray (make healthier choices).

2. Mix together the oats, baking powder, syrup, half of the nuts you have selected, half of the berries, and cinnamon. If you aren’t into Steel Oats (I don’t know how that is possible), you can use straight up old fashioned oats completely, just modify the portions so you have 2 cups of those.

How purrddyyyyyyy.

How purrddyyyyyyy.

3. Mix egg, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl. Word to the wise….the vanilla milk truly makes a difference. I don’t suggest using plain jane unsweetened almond milk…it just doesn’t have the same ZING.

"Beat it!" -Michael Jackson

“Beat it!” -Michael Jackson

4. Spread your oatmeal mixture into the pan. You want to make sure it is even and pressed into the corners.

It will look thin, but don't worry...this will expand in the oven.

It will look thin, but don’t worry…this will expand in the oven.

5. Pour the milk mixture over the flattened oatmeal mixture.

Drown those oats!

Drown those oats!

6. Top with your remaining berries and nuts. Slice banana and top as well. I got crazy and tossed a little cinnamon on it, too!

You can even put bananas in the base layer if you want!

You can even put bananas in the base layer if you want!

7. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Be prepared for your house to smell amazing.

What a beautiful little number!

What a beautiful little number!

Once removed, serve warm or you can refrigerate and reheat when ready.

Let’s go over a couple very important things:

-Prep time is only about 5 minutes, so this is great to make the night before without slaving away in the kitchen.

-This is totally 21 Day Fix Approved. One Serving is 1 Yellow, 1 Purple, and 1 Blue. I did not count the milk/egg because it is divided up into all of the servings, but if you are a stickler, I would probably mark it as 1/8 of a cup or so.

-This is totally customizable. If you are making it for kids that don’t like these berries, make it with something they enjoy. You can use realistically any fruit, and you don’t have to use nuts if you are allergic, hate them, or just want to save your blue container for cheese.

I hope you and your family loves this!

ENJOY!

ENJOY!

No Needles Needed!

Pinterest.

One simple word that makes me giddy with joy. I know I am not alone on this one.

When Pinterest graced us with its presence back in 2010, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I remember having a few casual conversations about it with friends who started using it right away and me stating that I didn’t think I would find it very useful. I’d like to publicly state that was one of my most ridiculous thoughts EVER.

I can honestly state here, on my blog, aka my safe space and trust tree with my internet followers, that I am a Pinterest addict. I have it on my computer as a favorite, and I have the app on my iPad and cell phone as well. Monfort, a digital marketing and social media agency posted some interesting stats (which you can access by clicking on their name) regarding this site, and one in particular really made it apparent to me that I have a problem. According to their research, females post about 158 new pins a year. A YEAR!

Hello, Pinterest, I pinned that amount yesterday #nolie.

I strongly feel I can debate the need and relevance of my addiction with Pinterest until the cows come home. After all, I can go there for inspirational quotes. I can find cute hair and makeup ideas. I can find recipes that are healthy and that Kyle would enjoy. I can learn how to properly clean suede should I ever want to or learn how to make magnets out of household items. Yes, it is a devil’s playground, and I love every minute I waste on there (Sidenote: 1 “minute” really equals about 2 straight hours on the damn site). I especially enjoy seeing Pinterest fails….where people attempt something they see on Pinterest and just butcher the heck out of it. Here’s just one lovely example that I found on (you guessed it) Pinterest:

So many great fails.

So many great fails.

This week I attempted something I have had on my Pinterest ” To Do” list for quite some time: arm knitting. You heard right…you knit with your arms. Since I really don’t like crocheting or knitting things due to my lack of patience and large fingers, I was convinced that I would have to own up to this being a fail once I tried it and bombed at scarf making.

Yeah...I did it!

Yeah…I did it!

WRONG! I did it! And I actually liked it so much that the next day, I cruised right on over to the fabric store and hooked myself up with some more yarn. The first scarf wasn’t perfect, but that is okay….I am a beginner….but it was made the way I wanted as far as chunkiness, it was a color I wanted, and it was super soft. Oh….and I only paid about $10 for the 2 skeins (is that how you spell the term….i don’t even know)….and I got 2 scarves out of them. $5 a scarf? Katie likes that.

If you want to try arm knitting, which I strongly encourage you to do, I posted a video on my Youtube channel teaching you how I did it.  Here it is:

Two final comments:

1. Be smart about arm knitting. Go on the internet (hey, you’re already on it), go to the craft store of your choosing, and print off some coupons. There is absolutely no reason to pay full price for yarn. Be shoppertunistic.

2. If you aren’t on Pinterest, I invite you to please abandon my blog, as well as everything else on your agenda, and go there immediately. Seriously.

And please, repeat after me....

And please, repeat after me….

Chocolate lovers only, please!

I have a big problem, and they come in the form of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

I JUST FREAKIN LOVE THEM (Especially the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup eggs…there’s just something amazing about them).

Ok, let’s be honest….I like all chocolate, but since these are my favorite, I am always trying to find a way to work them into my diet. Usually I stick with my trusty Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Shakeology recipe, but sometimes I just. want. the. chocolate.

This weekend I decided I would not eat like a pig for the Superbowl, and instead made a fabulous Black Bean and Spinach Enchilada recipe and…. Drumroll…..Shakeology Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. They are super easy and super delicious….and being that the entire batch was eaten by Kyle, I can attest that others love them, too.

Here is how you make my PB Heaven Cups….because they are so heavenly.

Ingredients You Need:

-5 Tablespoons Chocolate Shakeology (Don’t have any….you can order some here!)

-2 Tablespoons Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil

-3 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter or PB2 Mixed with Water

-Muffin Pan and some liners if you so desire

I use Chocolate Vegan instead of regular.....use what you love!

I use Chocolate Vegan instead of regular…..use what you love!

Step 1: Line your muffin pan with your liners (if you are using them).

Step 2: Melt the coconut oil in the microwave until a smooth liquid.

Step 3: Mix the coconut oil with the Shakeology in the bowl. If you don’t like the taste of coconut oil, you can use water in its place (same amount, your call).

Mix until smooth.

Mix until smooth.

Step 4: Add barely enough of the chocolate mixture to cover the bottom of the liner. Put in the freezer for about 2 minutes, then remove.
