Three days down!!!!
I’m proud of myself….no cheats so far! Although today was a close call….
I THOUGHT I was doing well today….then I realized that there were a ton of Girl Scout cookies in the house and that’s all I fixated on the rest of the day. I was standing on the cookie ledge for the better part of the afternoon, and it took several people talking me off it before I settled on my Shakeology which helped eliminate my cravings. Thank heavens for that….that’s why I always am drinking the chocolate flavor….it helps me with my sweet tooth.
Workout wise, I am surprised how sore my arms and legs are from the Yoga Retreat. I’m struggling getting the yoga breathing thing down, but I am seeing improvement since I started, so that’s a bonus. It’s weird not being covered in sweat when Im done….is that normal? I miss that from my usual workout….it’s like my badge of honor for rocking the heck out of my workout.
Here’s my meal plan for Day 3:
-Optimize with Mineralized Water
-Breakfast: 2 Eggs, 1 piece Whole Grain toast, 1 cup steamed spinach
-Optimize and Mineralized Water
-Microgreen Salad and Zucchini Cashew Soup
-Power Greens and Mineralized Water
-Optimize, Soothe, Mineralized Water
-Salmon, Brussel Sprouts, and Boiled Potatoes
Today I added my Power Greens to my Shakeology, and that helped. I can’t handle them on my own but didn’t want to skip them. The Power Greens are similar to the Shakeology Boosts, and once blended I could handle them.
Overall I’m feeling really great internally. I feel like I am sleeping better, and I’m really focused on my water intake, which i something I have struggled with in the past. This journey is all about the small victories.
These damn Girl Scout cookies though…..they gots to go! They were my small victory today but I’m worried how I can avoid them for 18 more days!!!!
