An App a Day Keeps the Doctor Away!

Yes, an APP! If you know me, you know I have a really serious issue with my iPhone (and all things Apple creates, to be honest). I love it. I think one of the biggest reasons why I love it so much is the fact that I can go to its wonderful little app store and find myself an application for pretty much anything. Some weeks I feel like I turn my entire paycheck over to iTunes for all of my purchases.

Every once in a blue moon I stumble across a really awesome app that is free, and this makes me extremely excited. Today was one of those days!!!! I think we all know I love love love to run…but what you may not know is that I absolutely dislike 90% of the arm workouts I come across. I just get bored with them really easily, yet I feel like I am always looking for a new one that can keep my interest and tone me up.

If you are like me, then I strongly suggest you jump on your iPhone or iPad and download PushUps Trainer FREE Exercise for Pink application from Zen Labs. I’ve been into the Zen Labs apps before (they have awesome 5k and Half Marathon training programs), so I figured I would give this a try. What’s cool about this app is that it is designed to help you..whether you are comfortable with an easy, beginner’s workout or one that is more advanced. As a beginner, I started out with the easy version, which consists of varied timed push up routines. I was able to follow along easily and the timer kept me focused.


The best part???? It is only 5 minutes long! That’s my kind of workout!
